Glimpses for Yojana-September-2010

Today I was reading Yojana- issue :September-2010.here are some highlights that had touched me.
The issue is a sports special .Here are some highlighted points mentioned in different topics.
1. There is a good demand for talent in managing sports and world-over it has become an industry in itself.India is only now waking up in this kind of skill.
2. With the passing of the long awaited Right to Education Bill which brings to every child the fundamental right to learn, libraries across rural India could play a stellar role in enhancing this learning.
3. Suddenly sports are all around us,thanks to media, merchandising , marketing and promotions, as much as the game itself. It is a golden opportunity for all concerned to come to the party .
4.India, which has successfully moved into the upper echelons of technology and many other areas , will now, on account of the commonwealth games , see itself on the world sporting map.
5. With the world's youngest population India Certainly has the potential to compete with sporting giants like China,USA,Russia,Korea and Japan.
6.The area of Sports Law is relatively new in our country . Nevertheless , it is an area of study that is worthy of definition and in depth academic  inquiry and practice.
7. The Indian Industries and the country's government need to work together for reducing the carbon footprint of the industries so that we can leave behind us a greener planet for the future generations
8. The future of Urban Cooperative Banks is challenging, and depends on transparency in control and operation, governance , customer-centric policies , technology up gradation and efficiency.

One more interesting page is on the Commonwealth Games . One gets the first hand information on its history and importance .
Overall -it's a good issue with lot of information .
